Maintenant que l’automne s’est bien installé et que les feuilles multicolores jonchent le sol de partout, je me suis finalement décidée pour sortir et observer ces douces couleurs. Mon envie vendredi, c’était d’aller voir pour la dernière fois la Stattbad de Wedding. J’avais été attristée d’apprendre la fermeture d’un lieu si original et qui participait à rendre Berlin si unique. La Stattbad était un lieu culturel où se tenaient workshops, expos et studios d’artistes. L’endroit ouvrait également en club pour y accueillir des DJs au fond de sa piscine et dans ses caves.

Je suis restée un moment à m’attarder devant les débris et ce qu’il restait du lieu, et puis j’ai continué ma balade au hasard des rues, jusqu’à atteindre Bernauer Straße, puis Torstraße, et finir ma route à Hackescher Markt.

Je vous laisse donc parcourir ma journée de Prenzlauer Berg à Wedding, et rendre un dernier hommage à la Stattbad qui nous aura fait vivre de belles choses.

Now that autumn is well established and that its fantastic colorful leaves are everywhere on the ground, I decided to go out and enjoy thoses colors as they last. The idea on Friday was to go and take a look at what remained of the Stattbad in Wedding. I was quite saddened to hear about the closing of such a great location which was definitely participating in making Berlin so unique. Our dear Stattbad was a cultural place offering all type of events: Workshops, exhibitions, artists studios. It was opening as a club and inviting people to dance in its empty pool and in the warmth of its narrowed basements.

I stayed for a while looking at the remains of it, and I started walking again in the streets of Wedding until I reached the Bernauer Straße, Torstraße and ended my walk in Hackescher Markt.

I leave you to my day in pictures from Prenzlauer Berg to Wedding and Mitte, and to give a last tribute to the Stattbad that leaves us with plenty of good memories.
